Thank you to all the parents that attended the forum on 30 November. We were joined by Lesley Strong, our Primary school liaison who talked through the school nurse role. The role is now part of 0-19 team, the same team that includes health visitors, so that your child’s health is cared for by one team throughout. The team can take referrals from parents and the school and Lesley will visit the school once per half term to discuss any school requirements. If you would like to speak with the team, you can call the Retford Single Point of Access (SPA) on 01777 274422.
We also discussed attendance and the link between regular attendance and attainment and we shared a leaflet called attendance matters.
Looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting on 17 January at 8.30am. If you would like to add anything to the agenda please feel free to let me know.
